In January 2025 we started the process of drafting the sustainability report (here the news). This path for us is a strategic phase of our company that has allowed us to identify the most relevant sustainability issues for us and our stakeholders.
The first part of this project involved us in materiality calculation and led us to choose which topics to explore in depth:
ENVIRONMENTAL
- Circular products
SOCIAL
- Diversity, inclusion and equal treatment
- Differences in treatment related to aspects of diversity
- Accidents at work
GOVERNANCE
- Compliance with laws and regulations
Why is materiality calculation important and what is it for?
- Align corporate strategy with market and stakeholder expectations;
- Identify sustainability risks and opportunities;
- Optimize resource allocation to the most critical ESG areas;
- Strengthen transparency and trust through clear and targeted communication.
How does the process work?
- Identification of material themes: analysis of potentially relevant ESG issues.
- Stakeholder involvement: Gathering opinions and priorities from customers, employees, investors, and other key stakeholders. (Based on a survey of our stakeholders)
- Evaluation and prioritization: Assigning scores to topics based on internal and external relevance (based on a survey of our stakeholders)
- Construction of the materiality matrix: graphic representation that cross-references the importance for the company and for stakeholders.
This work is essential for define concrete and measurable objectives, in line with the European standards (CSRD, ESRS) and with the our vision of responsible growth.
