FIXING SOLUTIONS FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

Fixing for photovoltaic systems: the energy you are looking for, within reach of your roof!
Fixing for photovoltaic systems is an extremely important system, often underestimated. Panel installation systems are essential to ensure stability and efficiency on the anchoring surface. Correctly executed fixing ensures that the panels remain firmly in place and optimizes their energy production.

What advantages does it offer?
A well-executed fastening offers numerous advantages, including:

  • Stability: Anchoring structures are essential and allow them to withstand the most adverse weather conditions, such as wind and snow, remaining firmly in place.
  • Infiltration Prevention: Correctly executed fixing preserves the system itself, reducing maintenance costs and protects the roofs from possible infiltrations.
  • Efficiency: A properly done job allows the panel to be angled in such a way as to optimize and maximize the production of electrical energy.
  • Durability: The choice of materials to use guarantees, if of quality, an excellent duration of the system.

Fixing techniques for photovoltaic panels
To meet customer requests, TEKNOMEGA offers different and customized solutions. This guarantees maximum energy efficiency and significant savings in terms of environmental sustainability. The TEKNOMEGA range offers different fixing techniques for photovoltaic systems, among the most common are:

  • Roof fixing (pitch, corrugated sheet metal, standing seam, domes and fibre cement): Ideal solution for solar system installations on civil and industrial buildings. The panels are anchored directly to the roof using different types of attachments. The use of profiles and brackets ensures greater stability and weather resistance.
  • Fixing on ballasted flat roof: Ideal solution for civil and industrial buildings. Fixing takes place on a flat surface using ballasts that reach different degrees of inclination, thus ensuring the greatest performance of the system itself. The TEKNOMEGA approach is to size the systems by carrying out accurate calculations, taking into account the loads expected by the Technical Construction Standards (NTC2018), ensuring the stability of the structures, which they must not rise, to overturn or slide.
  • Fixing on facade: A solution that allows you to install solar panels on the facades of buildings, optimizing work spaces and impacting aesthetics as little as possible.

Fixing tools
To ensure safe, reliable and long-lasting fixing of photovoltaic panels, it is necessary to use a specific product line.
TEKNOMEGA offers:

  • Steel brackets: the TEKNOMEGA bracket line offers a complete range of solutions for fixing photovoltaic panels, designed to adapt to any type of roof: pitched, corrugated or seamed sheet metal, on domes, fibre cement, flat roofs or facades. Furthermore, TEKNOMEGA offers the possibility of creating custom brackets, based on the specific needs of the customer.
  • Profiles: they are ideal supports for photovoltaic modules on any type of surface. Available in steel, aluminum or Magnelis steel®.
  • Jaws: they represent the anchoring element between the structure and the photovoltaic panel. The TEKNOMEGA jaw system allows for safe, fast and universal fixing, adapting to all panel thicknesses (from 29 to 51 mm).
  • Accessories: complete range of metal screws, bolts, nuts and washers, necessary for the installation of the system.
  • Rubber insulation: TEKNOMEGA rubber insulation is designed to provide effective protection to the support surface of the photovoltaic system and prevent water infiltration, increasing waterproofing. In addition to protecting the roof, in some cases it helps to increase the friction coefficient between the components, improving the stability of the fixing system.

Materials
The materials used to fix photovoltaic panels play a central role in the durability and reliability of the project. They must therefore be resistant and durable and among the most common are:

  • Aluminum: Lightweight, corrosion-resistant and extremely durable, aluminium is one of the most widely used materials for installing solar systems.
  • Stainless Steel: Offers greater durability and resistance to areas with adverse weather conditions.

Choosing a quality photovoltaic mounting system is a crucial aspect to ensure the safety and efficiency of the solar system. What makes the difference are the selected materials and the agreed working techniques as they determine the durability, stability and safety of the system. Investing in an adequate fixing system is necessary to allow, thus, the maximum performance of the structure without frequent maintenance.
