MAGNELIS®
41X21 THICK 2,5mm SLOTHED
41X41 THICK 2,5mm SLOTTED 3 SIDES
A new anti-corrosion solution designed to offer maximum protection even in particularly aggressive environments.
The Magnelis anti-corrosion treatment® it is obtained in a molten metal bath composed of: zinc, aluminum as well as a percentage of 3% magnesium, which creates a highly corrosion-resistant layer that covers the entire surface.
The finish is uniform dark grey, smooth and free from the imperfections typical of hot-dip galvanisation; Magnelis® it is an excellent alternative to galvanizing after processing, or to the use of aluminum and stainless steel.
The Magnelis layer® it is "self-regenerating" and protects scratches and cuts or punctures made after processing. Resistance in environments loaded with chlorine and ammonia is also excellent.
Magnelis® it also ensures exceptionally long-lasting protection against first corrosion: tests carried out in salt spray for approximately eight months highlighted the clear superiority of Magnelis® compared to electrolytic, hot galvanizing, Aluzinc etc.
ADVANTAGES
Longer life
Magnelis® increases the life of the structures three times compared to galvanized ones. In more demanding environments the benefits of Magnelis® they can be even better.
Self-healing effect
When cut, pierced or scored, Magnelis® slows down corrosion by forming a dense protective zinc film.
This ensures perfect protection of the entire structure.
Excellent workability
Profiling processes are facilitated by the excellent formability of Magnelis® with its low coefficient of friction compared to galvanized steel.
The Magnelis covering® adheres to the steel preventing chalking during processing.
Lower total costs
Magnelis® offers a significant cost reduction by reducing the need for maintenance and saving the need for painting. This causes Magnelis® is the most economical solution when compared to galvanized and post-galvanised.
Contact with cement
When concrete hardens, a very alkaline environment is created. This can be extremely aggressive with coated steels. Magnelis® It resists corrosion much better in these applications and is the preferred metal coating for applications that come into contact with concrete.
