The new generation of wire supporting clips
For some years now, suspensions made with chains and threaded rods have been giving way to the alternative made with wire ropes and quick-locking systems. TEKNOMEGA has been offering the market an adjustable cable suspension system for some time now, which boasts great reliability as well as a state-of-the-art range.
This range makes it possible to use both metre-long cable in various cross-sections and high-strength cable pieces that are pre-tensioned and cut to length.
This dual solution, to be coupled with the quick-fixing blocks of the indicated section, allows suspensions from 10 to 500 kg to be carried out, always maintaining a safety factor of 5:1. The Ω ZIP pre-cut cable is available with various types of terminals: looped, with fixing anchor, with ring (⌀ 5mm), with quick fastener and with a terminal fitted with a snap hook. This range is completed by a series of 'Y' components that are indispensable for suspending grid catwalks and lighting fixtures.
Given the great success and spread of the Ω ZIP system, we are pleased to present two new product ranges:
- Catenary system" suspensions which are useful in all cases where it is not possible to fasten to the floor slab of the building, creating an ideal solution for suspending lighting fixtures or other items.
- the multilevel racks made with load-bearing cables and shelves made from pieces of Ω STRUT profiles cut to size.
These new solutions are appreciated for their great reliability and for their ease and speed of installation. For the entire range, the adjustment and locking clamp is made entirely of zinc and houses two suitably serrated sintered steel wedges that have the task of sliding the cable in one direction but not allowing it to slip out in the opposite direction.
Finally, by operating on a convenient button located on the side of the block, it will be very easy to adjust the suspension to the desired height, greatly simplifying the operation of 'levelling' the entire suspended system. Request more information from our Technical Department.
